We design our Orthotics specifically for your requirements. The shape of your feet is captured in the functionally corrected position using our 3D laser scanning technology, allowing us to provide you with a perfectly fitting orthotic. Secondly, we look at the type of activities you wish to use your Orthotics for, the type of shoe-gear you wear, then taking your body weight into consideration. we are able to construct an orthotic with the perfect load-deformation characteristics required.

What are Custom-Made TRUE Orthotics and Why DO I Need Them?

 

An orthotic is a medical device, employed to support and align the foot, to improve the function of the foot, and to prevent or correct foot deformities.

A custom-made orthotic is an in-shoe medical device which is designed to alter the magnitude and pattern of the ground reaction forces acting on the sole of the foot in order to allow more normal foot and lower extremity function and to decrease loading forces on the structure of the foot and lower extremity during weight-bearing activities.

Our appropriately prescribed and individually designed custom-made Orthotics decrease pain and discomfort in the feet, ankles, knees, hips and lower back by enhancing foot stability using proven biomechanical principles. Custom-made Orthotics reduce and re-direct incorrect motions taking place during gait (walking), ultimately re-aligning the foot and lower limb for optimum biomechanical function. Orthotics will decrease the magnitude of forces acting on your foot, change the direction of the deforming forces and alter the timing of your walking pattern.
